GODHAK-PARSHURAM KUNDA

On the south of Rewa river of Madi there lies summit of Someshwor hills and on the far western side of the summit there lies Parshuram Kunda. According to the ancient mythology, Lord Parshuram used to come there for meditation. Parshuram Kunda is formed by the collection of water coming from the waterfall falling from Someshwor hills. Annually a fair is organized in this place on the occasion of Ram Nawami and at Godhak, Chaite Dashin fair is organized for 6 days. The land of Draupati Kunda, Yudhisthir's Umbrella, ancient King virat's cow farm and natural heritages can be utilized as tourism development from Valmiki ashram to Devghat.
